I was naked and you clothed me… Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.

Matthew 25:36,40Prayer Verse
Generous support + donations from our community

Clothing Ministry: Providing free clothing to our neighbors in need.

We believe that families facing displacement or hardship deserve the utmost care, respect, and confidentiality. To ensure that the clothing and food we distribute truly blesses them in their time of need, we ask that all donations meet the following guidelines. Your generosity helps us provide immediate, high-quality support to our neighbors.

How can I receive clothing from the church clothing closet?

The best way to start is to complete the form below on our website. We will respond to your request to set up a time for you to receive clothing. We’ve put together a few common questions and answers below, but if you have other questions, please don’t hesitate to call or use the “contact us” form.

What is the cost of the clothing?

There is no cost to receive clothing items from the Del Aire Baptist Church clothing ministry. Individuals or families in the Del Aire, Hawthorne, and surrounding communities can receive clothing in a confidential manner, typically by appointment.

How much clothing can I receive?

This is determined on a case-by-case basis, as every person and family’s situation is different. Our goal is to do our best to assist everyone in need with a fair amount of clothing.

Do I need a current picture identification and/or proof of residence?

It is preferred to have your picture identification with you, as well as a document showing your local address. This helps us ensure we are serving those in our immediate community who are most in need. If you have any concerns about providing identification, please discuss them with us when you call or fill out the contact form.

Do I need a "referral form" from a community leader or partner?

It is not necessary to have a referral form from a local community organization or leader to receive clothing from us. However, if you are working with a local school, social worker, or organization, a referral is always welcome.

What are your operational hours for the clothing closet?

We are by appointment only and our times available will be between 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM weekly.

I want to donate clothing items, how can I accomplish this?

Please send us an email and we can provide you information on accepted items and our current drop-off schedule.
