Our Ministries
Our ministries provide support, teaching God's Word, and fellowship for people of all ages, helping them at every life stage.
Del Aire CORE Values
As a church that is built on the Bible, we value:
Knowledge
We value the Preaching, Teaching, and Bible Knowledge; because we believe the Bible to be the infallible of Word of God, to encourage all people in the knowledge of Christ.
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; So that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NASB)
Evangelism
We value Evangelism we believe God has placed in this community to win our family, friends, and neighbors to Christ, we will endeavor to use every opportunity to witness for Him
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
Matthew 28:19-20 (NASB)
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
Acts 1:8 (HCSB)
Worship
We value Worship as a personal and community experience as we continually engage in praise, and surrender unto God.
Let the Word of Christ-the Message-have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room in your lives. Instruct and direct one another using good common sense. And sing, sing your hearts out to God! Let every detail in your lives-words, actions, whatever-be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way.
Colossians 3:16-17 (MSG)
Prayer
We value Prayer as a two way communication with God, believing that God hears and answers according to His will. We further acknowledge our total dependence on God’s divine favor, the only way to discern His will by consistently seeking Him in Prayer and reading His Word to know God and to abide in His will.
Pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 (NASB)
Now that we know what we have-Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God-let’s not let it slip through our fingers. We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all-all but the sin. So let’s walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help.
Hebrews 4:14-16 (MSG)
Giving
We value Giving of our time, out talents and our treasures for the advancement of the kingdom of God, We will endeavor to teach that stewardship is the proper management of all God has given us to expand His kingdom. We will encourage each member to give at least a biblical tithe of his/her income. We will teach each member to use the things of the world without loving the world.
Give, and it will be given to you; a good measure-pressed down, shaken together, and running over-will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.
Luke 6:38 (HCSB)
Remember this: The person who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the person who sows generously will also reap generously. Each person should do as he has decided in his heart-not reluctantly or out of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make every grace overflow to you, so that in every way, always having everything you need, you may excel in every good work. As it is written: He scattered; He gave to the poor; His righteousness endures forever.
2 Corinthians 9:6-9 (HCSB)
Obedience
We value Obedience, we believe that Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, we submit ourselves to His direction, guidance, and control. We also acknowledge the authority of the church and in the administration of God’s commandments, rule and spiritual edification over the Body of Christ in its entirely.
The husband provides leadership to his wife the way Christ does to his church, not by domineering but by cherishing.
Ephesians 5:23 (MSG)
For this reason God highly exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow- of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth- and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:9-11 (HCSB)
Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and don’t do the things I say?
Luke 6:46 (HCSB)
